This week we are shining our ThermoFun Member Spotlight on Tania Lee!Tania has shared with us her Peanut Butter, Banana & Oat Thermomix Dog Treats! This recipe sounds too delicious and I'm not even a dog!! Tania converted this recipe to be made in the Thermomix from Miss Molly Says Blog. She also gave us a great recipe for doggy meatloaf.
Here is Tania’s story about these Thermomix Dog Treats:
"Thermomix is great to make food and treats for our pets too. We have a local 'Gourmet' pet food store that we used to buy from but now the kids and I enjoy making things for our Cavoodle, Honey, ourselves. Plus it's a huge savings bonus! She especially likes these treats. We recently picked up a dog bone cookie cutter from a popular kitchenwares store, but you can just cut them into squares, or use other shaped cutters. Honey's never complained about the shape of her treats! Hope your dog enjoys them too".

Always got my dogs biscuits from the market, but due to Covid they are shut. Decided to try these. I am glad I did! My dogs absolutely love them! They bowl me over when they see me approaching the jar that hold them! Thankyou so much! Best recipe ever!

I purchased the dog bone cookie cutter from a Kitchen Warehouse store a few years ago. I’d probably try to source it online now though, or call a kitchen store prior to visiting to confirm they have them. 🐶

Hello! Ive just read up on these, mine was not sticky enough and its clear now it was because of the size of the banana, but since the egg i used was also small, i threw in a second egg. Is this acceptable or should I not feed him these and make new ones instead? I mean, I alredy fed him two and he GOBBLED them and even licked the floor... Thanks for any insight!

My two dogs Nigella and Cocoa have been enjoying these cookies for years now! Have you thought about making any other dog biscuit/treat recipes? I would like to see one that uses mashed pumpkin or carrot.

Hi I used the ingredients above but mine is very dry not wet enough to combine at all. Can you please help understand why this would be or what I could add to at least be able to roll out.
My first time making treats ft my dog 😄

thermofun says
Hi Christine, I'm wondering did you use a medium sized banana rather than a small one?
The banana size really makes a difference to this recipe. So if your banana was on the small side the dough would be too dry. If this happens again, next time just add a bit of water (or bit more mashed up banana) just enough to get the dough sticking together to roll out. I do hope your batch didn't go to waste and that your dog enjoyed them! :)Reply
