Job DescriptionR.L.R. Investments, L.L.C., a national real estate investment company, together with Assured Title Company, in house title company for Golden Ocala Real Estate, is in search of a Paralegal / Closer to join their in house legal team. We are looking for a real estate paralegal that is experienced, polished and professional to join our fast-paced team. This position will assist the Sr. Paralegal, Vice President and General Counsel, as well as others within both companies. This person must have extensive real estate experience representing both residential and commercial matters, including but not limited to preparing letters of intent, contracts, and leases; contract timelines and calendaring the critical dates so that none are missed; detailed communication with agents, buyers, sellers, and lenders; reading legal documents and contracts with confidence; obtaining necessary due diligence items and title commitment requirements; reading, reviewing and preparing title objection letters based upon title commitments; reading a metes and bounds legal descriptions confirming the survey, title commitment and deeds all agree; preparing closing documents including all loan document and corporate resolutions; attend/conduct closings with Buyer and Seller; and following up on all post closing documentation confirming that all are processed and received accurately and delivered in a timely manner. Knowledge of Closers Choice is preferred but not required.

The right person must possess proven analytical and organizational skills, excellent communication and time management skills using Microsoft Office programs as our office is very fast paced and has frequent changing deadlines, as well as the ability to think out-side-the-box for resolutions that will benefit the company, buyer and or seller. The ability to work well in a team, as well as without micro-supervision, under pressure and with an upbeat positive attitude are extremely important. We are looking for someone who wants to make this their last career move. Hours are Monday - Friday 8am-5pm with flexibility to work additional time as the work level requires.

We are not requiring a licensed Paralegal or Title Agent, but you must have experience and understanding of language and verbiage of the residential and commercial real estate and title industry.
