Easy Biscuit Cake Recipe one of the popular cake recipe also called as fridge cake. It is made using biscuits, chocolate sauce and frosting.

I made cakes in oven, cakes in microwave, cakes in pressure cooker so far, but this is my first recipe for no bake biscuit cake. It looks like a cake, taste even better than a cake, plus it is eggless, easy to make, even your kids can whip this up in minutes.

I used digestive biscuits to make this, but you can make this using marie biscuits or any of your favourite biscuits. And also the the icing on the outside, you can leave that out and just pour the cornflour mix on top and enjoy it like a pudding. But this chocolate coating, makes it tasty and it looks pretty.

    How to Make Biscuit Cake

    • Take sugar, cocoa, cornflour in a sauce pan, add in vanilla and milk. Mix well. Cook this on low heat till it thickens. Now set aside to cool it a bit.
    • Now take biscuit and dip it in milk, arrange it in a foil lined plate. Spread the cocoa icing over it and repeat this untill the last biscuit.
    • Dont spread icing on top of that biscuit. Put this plate in fridge for 30 mins.
    • Now take chocolate and butter in a sauce pan and melt it on low heat till it is all melted. Pour this over the biscuit and spread on the sides as well.
    • Chill this for 30 mins.
    • Slice and serve.

The cool thing is, when you cut the cake, you see lots of layers on them and they taste so yummy and surprisingly soft and buttery. I have many many versions of this biscuit cake, will share all of them very soon.

      Hello,
I feel you should mention in the recipe exactly what kind of sugar. I used regular sugar but should have used powdered icing sugar.

      Thanks.

Hi Aarthi.. it's lockdown due to covid19 in India...
I tried the biscuits cake last night...
I tried it without cornflour, vanilla essence and used ghee for unsalted butter, I love dark chocolate, so used bournville...
OMG.. it is so so so yummie..
I can't believe that just 10 biscuits, cocoa powder, chocolate and other all time available ingredients turned out in so delicious cake.. thanks for sharing this recipe..
Best part is we can consider it's kind of instant and easy... Fully enjoyed it
